Meghan Trahey, EIT

Civil Designer

Meghan joined Meliora straight out of Penn State in 2012, armed with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and the incentive to learn, grow, and contribute her skills to full site/civil design and green stormwater infrastructure planning and design. Since then, she has worked on dozens of projects requiring a spectrum of services, from water resources, sustainable stormwater, and water and sewer system design, to erosion and sedimentation control practices and cost estimating. In addition to design, Meghan also oversees construction administration for a variety of project types and scopes and has been integral to refining Meliora’s design process and CAD standards.

Her expertise with AutoCAD Civil3D for utility design and analysis has put Meghan in a unique position to support the firm’s on-call civil engineering contract with Philadelphia International Airport by serving as a consultant in the Department of Aviation’s Capital Development Group, where she reviews, manages, and documents all incoming AutoCAD files for maintenance of current airport layout plans.

Born and raised locally in West Chester, Meghan unwinds at the gym and beach, finds problem-solving to be fun in the form of jigsaw puzzles, and cherishes time spent with family.
